I joined Toastmasters International when I felt anything but confident. After moving to Copenhagen during COVID, I struggled to find connection and avoided public speaking. At my first meeting, I was called up to speak—and went completely blank. Instead of judgment, I found encouragement. That moment changed everything and became the start of a journey shaped by growth, community, and shared purpose.
